**Important: please carefully read the following instructions**

1. All participants
Please do not forget to attend the Reception on May 23 (18:30-21:00) in the Maple Leaf Room, Lister Conference Centre.

2. Virtual attendees
This announcement is for participants who will join the CSSS-ASSW 2022 conference virtually.
Please note that virtual attendance (both to participate as an audience and as a presenter) would be through Virtual Program page of the conference website
Select the session you would like to attend and click on the link for that session. The password to join the Zoom meeting will be emailed to registered participants early next week.

3. Poster presenters
The CSSS-ASSW 2022 will be a hybrid conference, so you can attend either in-person or virtually depending upon your situation.

All poster presenters, including those who will attend the conference in-person or virtually, need to upload their posters online here, before May 24th.

All poster presenters are required to complete two steps on the webpage: (1) register their poster by clicking "Poster Session Registration" and (2) submit their poster by clicking "Poster Submission."

For any technical queries, please contact the organizing committee member of CSSS-ASSW: Dr. Christopher Nzediegwu (nzediegw@ualberta.ca)

In-person attendees will also need to bring a printed-out poster when they attend the conference. The poster session will be held in the Wild Rose Room. Posters will be on display on May 24 and 25. Poster board size: 4 ft high x 6 ft wide (please see the attached picture). The size of the poster should be appropriate considering the poster board size. You would be able to use pins to hang the poster.

4. Oral presenters who will deliver their presentations in-person
Please kindly upload your presentation file here before May 21, 2022. Having your presentation file in advance will help us reduce the workload on the conveners of the sessions.

5. Oral presenters who will deliver their presentations virtually
Please note that all oral presenters who will be delivering their talks virtually need to send a pre-recorded video for their presentations.
The video will be used only in case you face any technical issue with your live presentation during your designated time at the conference program (plan B). However, we strongly encourage you to deliver your talk live for better communication with the audience.

Guidelines for the preparation of pre-recorded video:
Presentation duration:
For 15-min talks: 12 min presentation (pre-recorded video or live presentation) + 3 min for questions (live)
For 30-min talks (invited): 25 min presentation (pre-recorded video or live presentation) + 5 min for questions (live)
For 50-min talks (plenary): 35 min presentation (pre-recorded video or live presentation) + 15 min for questions (live)

If the video exceeds the designated time, the system will automatically switch to Q&A and your presentation will be cut off.
The video should contain the slides of your presentation (with appropriate font size) together with your voice commenting on them (you can record your presentation using Zoom or other platforms).
Please name your file as: Session number_date_ first+last name
Presentations must be submitted in .mp4 format and no larger than 1GB.
We will appreciate receiving the video as soon as possible and before May 21, 2022.
Please upload your video here

Please make yourself available to give the presentation live at the allocated date/time for your presentation unless you prefer the pre-recorded video format.

We are looking forward to seeing you all at the CSSS-ASSW 2022, Edmonton!
